Getting To Know You
If you are interested in seeking employment through Brainstorm Creative Resources, we ask that you download and complete the one-page questionnaire labeled “Tell Us About Yourself” in our Download Center. Please e-mail the completed questionnaire to candidate@brainstormresources.com, along with your resume and at least three samples of relevant work you completed during the last two years. We will respond within 36 hours.
The Interview Process
Our in-person interviews usually last about two hours. We will talk about your academic history and past work experiences and journey together into the future, as we discuss opportunities for professional growth that might be available to you. If you have most often worked in a hands-on writing, design or production position, we will review your portfolio and ask you to demonstrate your skills by completing a computer-based evaluation. We ask that all candidates come prepared to recommend three professional references.
The Perfect Match
Identifying a position that offers the right mix of responsibilities and challenges, in a workplace that is both convenient and friendly, sometimes seems like a tall order. We hope to learn enough about you during your interview and subsequent conversations, to recommend opportunities that fit your interests and needs.
Once we have identified an opportunity that you agree is a good fit, we will lobby our client on your behalf. If our client also believes you are appropriate for the position in question, we will arrange an interview. After your interview, we will collect feedback from you and from our client, and then determine if a second interview is warranted. If our client decides to offer you a salaried position, we will discuss the pros and cons of the offer with you and help you prepare an affirmative or negative response. Our process encourages participation and feedback, and our services are available at no cost to you.
