Our Story
Brainstorm Creative Resources, a privately held company, was founded in December 2002 by Adam Sidel, a staffing industry veteran and former Washington, DC and New York-based broadcast journalist. Located in downtown Washington, DC, the company is well situated to respond to client needs in the nation’s capital, as well as in Maryland and Virginia.
Adam Sidel
Adam began developing the Brainstorm Creative Resources model while working as a Washington, DC-based creative services placement consultant for an international staffing services firm. Simply stated, his goal was to bring to the regional marketplace the first truly flexible system for supplementing internal creative or editorial resources. By offering human resources consulting and an innovative business to business matching program, as well as traditional staffing and recruitment services, he believes Brainstorm Creative Resources realizes this goal. Adam lives with his wife in Washington, DC.
Lauren Arky
Lauren has more than a dozen years of experience in the recruiting profession—placing top-tier professional staff at some of the most prestigious businesses in the nation’s capital. Her roster of success: Fortune 100 companies, international consulting firms, highly regarded not-for-profit organizations and many of the Washington, D.C. area’s premier lobbying, financial services and real estate firms. Lauren earned a degree in psychology from Syracuse University and enjoys road trips back to her home state of New Jersey where she enjoys spending time at the shore. She lives with her husband and son in the Maryland suburbs.
